We are currently looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Pueblo, Colorado.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role will coordinate and support all HR activities associated with the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, training management and offboarding. This position will also be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our safety program.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
SAFETY:
Coordinates all safety initiatives and maintains safety records.
Champions and promotes our safety culture with all employees.
QUALITY:
Maintains accurate and complete safety and HR records pursuant to specified guidelines.
Maintains HR data in HRIS system for all employees accurately and efficiently.
ON-TIME DELIVERY:
Consistently meets scheduled commitments and accurate processing of payroll, benefits, attendance program, data entry and compliance with policies and procedures.
Coordinate the employee review process according to required timelines.
Ensures accurate and timely compliance with all regulations. (e.g. HIPAA, FMLA, OSHA, and all applicable employment law).
COST:
Exercises good judgement with regards to cost control for all purchasing decisions assigned.
Liaises with vendor and employees regarding disability claims administration.
PEOPLE:
Support employee relations through administration of employee programs and policies and planning and coordinating Company/employee events.
Answer employee questions related to policies and benefits.
Coordinates training and safety activities including scheduling of training, special events and record keeping.
ENVIRONMENTAL:
Adhere to Nortrak's Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies.
RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION:
Leads the recruitment and selection process to fill open positions.
ONBOARDING AND TRAINING & DEVEOPMENT MANAGEMENT:
Support the onboarding process for all new employees to ensure tools are effectively utilized by managers/supervisors to achieve a successful onboarding process for new employees.
TERMINATION AND OFFBOARDING:
Complete the exit interview process.
Process terminations according to company policies and procedures.
QUALITIFCATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other related fields is preferred.
FIELD OF EXPERIENCE:
3 to 5 years of relevant HR experience.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Experience in administering and communicating benefit programs.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with ADP HRIS and Krono’s software is preferred.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or climbing.
Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to lift or handle up to 25 pounds at times.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Occasional travel may be required which includes walking, standing, sitting and driving from short to long periods of time.
