Job Description
Job Summary:
The Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing safety programs while collaborating with leadership ensure employee safety and regulatory compliance. Key duties include implementing safety protocols, delivering training, investigating incidents, conducting audits, and collaborating with leadership to enhance workplace safety. The EHS Manager will drive compliance efforts and risk mitigation across job sites and facilities to maintain a safe work environment.

Additional Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualification

Education:

Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field preferred. -
Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in EH&S compliance or safety program administration within utilities, construction or related field. Leadership experience preferred. -
Skills:
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively, managing conflicting demands, and handle deadlines or emergencies effectively. -
Travel:
-
Valid ME driver's license required. Ability to travel when necessary for safety inspections, audits, training, and related tasks. -
Work Environment:

Position involves both office work and fieldwork at company facilities and project sites.
