Job Summary
Kutztown University is accepting applications to fill two (2) University Registered Nurse (9-month) positions. The University Nurse is a member of the Enrollment Management and Student Affairs division and works in collaboration with campus partners to enhance students' experience, success, and retention by promoting health and wellness. The University Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing services to University students, including injury, illness, and prevention care. Work efforts are primarily directed toward the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of the physical and mental health of our students; providing nursing assessment and treatment in accordance with established protocols and standards of care; and guiding students to make informed decisions about their health. The University Nurse is also responsible to function as a team member and is expected to utilize their experience and skill in collaboration with their colleagues. The University Nurse often will need to be autonomous and is required to possess the clinical experience to assess, evaluate, treat, or refer to a provider as needed.
Compensation Package: $45,270.00 (9-months), plus comprehensive benefits, including:
