Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist at Roth Staffing Companies in South Pasadena, California

Job Description:

Ledgent Accounting & Finance has partnered with a large privately-owned commercial and facitility maintenance firm, and is actively looking for an Accounting(AP/AR) Specialist! We're seeking someone who thrivevs in a fast paced work environment. This is a contract to hire position, onsite M-F.



Qualifications:

• Experience in AR/AP, at least 2 years


• Proven experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions


• Excellent customer service skills with a personable and approachable demeanor


• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices for payment


• Ensure timely payment of bills


• Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions


• Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies


• Manage and track all receivables


• Generate and send out invoices


• Follow up on outstanding payments


• Reconcile AR transactions and resolve discrepancies


• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders


• Work closely with the accounting team and other departments


• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth financial operations


• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment
