Our well-known client in Denver, CO is looking for a great Medmal Attorney to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated medical malpractice attorney to join a busy and well-regarded department with excellent potential for growth and career advancement!



Responsibilities:



Handle all phases of medical malpractice cases from initial intake through trial or settlement.


Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the case process.


Conduct thorough legal research, develop case strategies, and prepare detailed legal opinions.


Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents related to medical malpractice claims.


Take and defend depositions, manage the discovery process, and work with expert witnesses to build strong cases.


Represent clients in court, including motion hearings, settlement conferences, and trial, as needed.


Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case preparation and team efficiency.


Ensure all work complies with state and federal laws and ethical standards.



Qualifications:



Admission to practice law in Colorado.


1+ year of experience in medical malpractice.


2+ years of practice experience.


Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.


Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


Excellent writing and oral communication skills.


Strong research capabilities.



Work Schedule & Office Culture:



Hybrid Work: After a successful training period, attorneys may work from home two days per week, with an expectation to be in the office regularly.


The department's lead attorney prefers an in-office presence but is flexible with hybrid work arrangements.



Growth Opportunities:

Compensation & Benefits:



$100,00-$180,000 in base compensation. Depending upon experience and potential book of business.


Billable bonuses, sign-on and retention bonuses.
