Our client is a leading construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects with a focus on precision, innovation, and efficiency. They are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.



Qualifications:

• 
  Must have experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction accounting practices (job costing, progress billings, etc.).


• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel highly preferred
  


• Prior management or supervisory experience is highly preferred, as this role will oversee a team of 3.


• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.


• Supervise and provide leadership to a team of 3 accounting staff members.


• Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and procedures.


• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial statements, job cost reports, and other key financial data.


• Manage the general ledger and oversee reconciliations.


• Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate tracking of project costs, budgets, and timelines.


• Optimize and streamline accounting processes to increase efficiency.


• Assist with year-end audit preparations.


• Maintain the integrity of financial systems, including QuickBooks and Excel-based reporting tools.
