Job Description:
The Program Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects related to the development, production, and delivery of HVAC equipment for data centers. This role involves managing multiple projects within the program, including product development, integration, and capital expenditure projects. The Program Manager ensures alignment with business objectives, maintains high standards of quality, and delivers projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
• Program Planning and Strategy:
• Define program scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive program plans, including project timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Align program objectives with the company's strategic goals, particularly in the data center market.
• Project Coordination and Management:
• Coordinate and manage multiple projects within the program, ensuring alignment with overall program goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, procurement, finance, sales and quality assurance, to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related communications.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on program status, milestones, and outcomes.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, customers, and external partners.
• Resource Management:
• Allocate resources effectively across projects to ensure optimal performance and delivery.
• Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial goals are met.
• Identify and mitigate resource constraints or conflicts.
• Quality and Compliance:
• Ensure all projects adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of product performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
• Monitor and manage program-level risks, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
Requirements:
• Education:
• BA/BS in Business Management, Accounting, Engineering, or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be qualifying.
• PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project or program management within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in manufacturing management or construction management environments is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
