Position Overview: A Keystone Cooperative Service Technician must be customer focused and is responsible for all Retail Petroleum and Propane repairs including but not limited to instillation, repair, and removal of petroleum systems at customer and company locations. Supports the activities of Keystone Cooperative Petroleum Departments to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to
Support Keystone Cooperative's stated mission, vision, and business values
Project a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times
Provide outstanding and courteous customer service
Prepare production and inventory records as required
Responsible for liquid fuel departments regulatory and safety compliance along with Keystone Cooperative's Safety team
Installation, repair, and removal of various liquid energy systems including but not limited to bulk plants, trucks, grain dryers, fuel dispensers, and AutoGas systems
Diagnose propane system leaks and performance problems
Proper operation of equipment including but not limited to flatbed truck with lifting boom, trenchers (various sizes and styles), augers and various hand tools
Willing to work overtime, including Saturdays; could be called out after hours on service calls
Keep informed of and follow approved safety practices in the performance of job responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Prefer CDL A, will accept a CDL B, or ability to obtain CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
Mechanical knowledge
CETP Certification or ability to obtain
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and ability to prioritize
Ability to work independently
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk a mile, climb steps/ladders and lift up to 75lbs
Bending and climbing in and out of truck
Ability and willingness to work outside in both hot and cold conditions
