Position: Staff Product Manager



Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066



Duties: Define vision and strategies, identify market opportunities, build product roadmaps, and influence stakeholders. Drive product roadmaps from requirement definition, prioritization, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, and other launch efforts. Communicate high level and detailed product specifications and use written specifications and user experience generated deliverables (e.g., prototypes, wireframes). Work closely with sales and business teams to launch products and ensure their adoption. Coordinate post-launch activities to validate that the product works as designed as expected and tracking and improving key product metrics. Conduct industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry to identify new opportunities. Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmaps. Build collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership. Partner with internal advertising sales teams and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling experiences that benefit shoppers and Walmart's advertising clients. This position does not supervise employees.



Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Software Management, or related area and 5 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Software Management, or related area and 7 years of experience in product management.



Skills required: Experience creating Product Requirement Documents (PRDs). Experience conducting industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in the retail industry. Experience developing a product strategy and roadmap for a specific product area in support of a customer experience vision. Experience using user stories with prioritized features in Atlassian Jira and ensuring the delivery of software features on time. Experience defining product roadmaps, aligning business and technical needs, and analyzing customer and product data. Experience supporting product implementations and deployments by engaging with Engineering and Scrum Masters during implementations to answer questions and make scope trade off decisions. Experience managing multiple projects for multiple products. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.




Salary Range: $157,636/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
