Position: Senior Product Manager
Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Duties: Responsible for driving the technical product development roadmap for the highly strategic consumer retail space. Define, develop, and launch an exceptional new end-to-end customer and associate experience. Provide thought leadership and innovative vision in a fast-paced environment. Partner with other product managers, designers, engineers, business managers, and senior leadership to ensure the successful conception, development, and launch of new products and features. Analyze data leveraging Cloud SQL, Excel, and Tableau. Align with key stakeholders to define business and product strategies. Build and manage high quality product roadmaps based on product vision and strategy to solve for customer pain points. Prioritize and execute trade-offs for speed to market, technical performance, and customer delight. Gain support on strategy and roadmap from key stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership. Create product goals and related metrics, as well as track progress and management obstacles to achieve business objectives and solve customer problems. Conduct user research and user interviews to determine user pain points while creating new digital experiences for customers. This position does not supervise other employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, or related area and 3 years of experience in product management or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, or related area and 5 years of experience in product management or related field.
Skills required: Experience defining specifics of new digital user experiences and interfaces for customers. Experience conducting business analysis to determine feasibility of new digital user experiences. Experience managing technical product roadmaps to ensure new products and features launch in a timely manner. Experience conducting strategic quantitative and qualitative analyses in a cross-functional environment to improve business processes. Experience with qualitative coding to determine user pain points and generate business insights from user interviews and surveys. Experience managing day to day project communications and contributing to senior executive management reports and business presentations. Experience implementing new technical solutions and technical processes for business critical problems using the Agile software development methodology. Experience collecting business requirements from key stakeholders to define detailed technical and functional specifications for new products and features. Experience with user research and contextual inquiries and creating surveys for identifying user pain points. Experience with rapid prototyping to create new digital user experiences.
