As the Health Technical Program Management Associate Director, you will be an Agile-experienced leader responsible for technology delivery activities requiring significant dependency management with other product teams and business partners. This role requires regular vendor/supplier and partner management and is a people leader who recruits, manages and develops a team of 6+ direct reports.
This role will be remote first. The person who fills this role must be within a commutable distance to the Best Buy Health office in Boston, MA.
What you'll doLead complex, large scale technology delivery projects/programs requiring contributions from multiple Technology product teams, programs with critical timelines or business critical and strategic initiatives. Ensure teams are delivering against the plan and work with the teams to raise concerns and hold teams accountable for actions. Articulate program status, provide actionable updates, speak to current risks, provide risk aversion plans (capacity, skillset and tech gaps) and escalate to senior leadership where needed. Create and guide the creation of complex project/program plans using agile and hybrid methodologies Build and steward agile delivery capabilities and ensure that they are employed to deliver all products Create and cascade communications and weekly status reports to appropriate stakeholders, leadership and contributors. Drives domain execution efficiency and consistency within guidelines established by discipline communities of practice. Responsible for hiring, onboarding and assigning program/project managers based on team needs for a technology area.
Basic qualifications6+ years project management experience required6+ years agile or product delivery experience required3+ years experience managing large, strategic technology initiatives required1+ years direct people management, leading high performing and engaged teams required2+ years experience working with senior executives requiredFormal project management, agile product management, scrum master or process improvement training (PMP, SAFe, SCRUM, CPPM, CSM, Lean Six Sigma, CSPO)
Preferred qualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
