ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives within landscape construction and commercial maintenance. This role requires expertise in safety management, policy development, and execution. The Safety Manager will collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and foster a culture of safety within the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS
Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, ensuring proactive solutions are communicated and implemented.
Provide training and support to team members on safety practices and procedures.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure safe project execution and meet customer expectations.
Analyze safety data and prepare reports for management to track performance and compliance.
Maintain thorough documentation related to safety standards, incidents, and training.
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in construction or landscape industries.
Proven track record in developing and executing safety policies.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) preferred.
