Position Summary:
A Program Supervisor plans and supervises a program and provides a variety of administrative and program management tasks. This position implements program goals as well as carries out important operational duties.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited graduate program with major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or other related degree required. These degrees must be license eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
BBS registration, licenses, credentials or like certifications must remain active and valid with their governing entity, if applicable.
Minimum of two years' experience in the practice of mental health counseling.
Two years of experience of supervisory experience.
Bilingual Preferred.
A valid California driver's license is required of staff who have regular driving duties, and the driving record must meet the requirements of their position and be approved by the agency's insurance company.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing leadership development concepts in staff oversight, including time management, purposeful coaching and development, effective communication, and meeting facilitation.
Manage day to day operations and ensure compliance with all personnel legal requirements, including staff oversight, hiring, scheduling meal periods, and approving timesheets.
Provide direct clinical services to clients.
Provide training and guidance/mentorship of frontline staff
Implement department/program objectives.
Collaborate with administration to develop a culture of "people first".
Responsible for contract review and ensuring deliverables are met. (Maintenance)
Responsible for executing organizational strategies and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (such as HIPAA) for reports, records, and policies as outlined in contracts.
Develop and maintain a procedural manual for program operations.
Responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with potential adverse events, outcomes, or behaviors stemming from legal, ethical, or operational process breakdowns.
Ensure timely completion of assessments and review of treatment plans.
Ensure compliance of all clinical records to meet standards of the agency, The Joint Commission and contract.
Maintain good working relationships with referral agents/agencies.
Participate in the preparation of annual reports/program evaluations as required by contracts.
Responsible for preventing and controlling infection.
Responsible for maintaining a culture of quality and safety.
Responsible for reducing the risk of injury to clients, staff, and visitors.
Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis prevention
Properly administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide.
