Keller is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer for our Ground Improvement Group based out of our Hanover, MD headquarters. This position can be fully remote, but a candidate in the Eastern Time Zone is preferred.
Responsibilities
Create a strategy for establishing a secure and well-managed enterprise environment in Azure
Configure and manage virtual networks in Azure
Develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations
Utilize native Azure services to meet the firm's technology and resiliency requirements
Drive Identity and access and configuration management, and monitoring strategy for Azure
Lead design process for network connectivity to Azure
Performs the implementation, operational support, maintenance, and optimization of network hardware, software, and communication links of the cloud infrastructure.
Extend standard systems management processes into the cloud including change, incident, and problem management
Establish and implement monitoring and management infrastructure for both availability and performance management
Establish internal pricing and instance selection model for Azure virtual machines
Integrate Azure management tooling with MLP including automation of spin-up and spin-down and billing approvals
Design and implement data protection options, including HA and BCP protection in Azure
Researches and writes technical documentation that is beneficial to the organization.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a full time IT professional
3+ years of experience designing and supporting Azure environments, including IaaS and PaaS
Resolves complex problems, creates, and improves procedures, and facilitates communication.
Hands on experience using the Azure administration portal
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Microsoft Bicep
Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering)
Demonstrable experience deploying enterprise workloads to Azure
Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
Hands-on experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet or Azure State Configuration (DSC)
Experience designing and supporting enterprise core services as well as cloud deployments of these services
Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise software products and services
Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery planning experience, a plus
Microsoft Azure Certification (MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or equivalent) are a plus
Additional Information
Salary Range : $125,000 - $150,000 per year
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
