Location: West Covina, CA

Salary: $135,000.00 USD Annually - $155,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
The Judge Group is currently seeking a Process Control Manager for a large commercial / industrial component manufacturing firm in the West Covina, CA area. The right candidate will have A Mechanical Engineering or Material Science degree and experience in a Front-end castings environment.



COMPENSATION: 135k to 155k (A small relocation stipend will be provided for the right candidate if necessary)



PREFER TO HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Mechanical)


MUST HAVE: AS9102 experience


MUST HAVE: 5+years experience in Investment casting (wax, investing, and/or foundry)


MUST HAVE: Some Supervisory experience



RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Develop best practices in the front end (wax through casting) area

- Implement process control strategies (Reduce Variation, Reduce Cost, And Improve Throughput)

- Perform SPC testing

- Use statistical tools Supervise a team

- Oversee front end operations from raw material to shell removal

- Document work procedures and processes

- Drive and record process changes

- Improve wax injection press capabilities

- Drive 6S

- Drive process control improvement



REQUIREMENTS:


- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Mechanical)

- 5+years experience in Investment casting (wax, investing, and/or foundry)

- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Principles
