Description: Our client is currently seeking a Operational Change Manager!
Key Responsibilities
Change Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy, focusing on the people side of change to drive end-user adoption, usage, and proficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders across departments, including operations, maintenance, procurement, and IT. Act as a liaison between technical teams and end users.
Impact Assessment: Assess the change impact of the Maximo upgrade on current workflows and business processes. Conduct readiness assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
Communication Plan: Create and execute a communication plan to ensure stakeholders are informed about project milestones, changes, and expectations.
Training and Support: Collaborate with training teams to develop and deliver targeted training materials. Oversee training efforts to ensure users are confident in using the new Maximo functionalities.
Risk Management: Identify potential resistance to change and develop proactive strategies to address these risks. Monitor and manage issues related to change fatigue, ensuring that end-user concerns are addressed.
Performance Monitoring: Define key success metrics and ensure they are measured throughout the implementation process. Regularly report on progress to senior leadership and the project management team.
Post-Implementation Support: Support post-go-live activities, including evaluation of common user issues, gathering feedback, and ensuring a smooth transition to the upgraded system.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, IT, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in change management, ideally in utility or public sector environments.
Proven track record of managing change within enterprise asset management (EAM) systems, preferably IBM Maximo.
Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and maintenance processes.
Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proactive and independent mindset, able to develop their own workplan.
Ability to thrive in environments lacking clearly defined processes, to define new processes, and to propose and implement improvements to current processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment.
Knowledge of project management tools and processes.
