Our Opportunity:


Our client is on the lookout for a Jira Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in optimizing and maintaining workflows that are crucial for vendor onboarding, item assortment, and backend processes related to rebates, supply chain, and retail operations. Your efforts will ensure process efficiency, standardization, and seamless integration with other systems, thereby enhancing collaboration and data-driven decision-making. You will manage workflow updates, coordinate with technical teams, and ensure that these workflows align with both functional and strategic business requirements. Additionally, you will provide necessary training and support to facilitate the smooth adoption of updated workflows.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain Jira workflows using Groovy scripting.

  • Conduct user interviews and gather stories to refine both functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Administer Jira products, including the integration of workflows, issue types, fields, screens, schemas, and projects.

  • Manage project timelines, coordinate with product and technical teams, and ensure integrations meet business requirements.

  • Oversee training and support to ensure seamless adoption of new systems and workflows.

  • Maintain high standards of operational excellence and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • At least two years of experience in Jira workflow development and administration.

  • Proven experience with Adaptivist ScriptRunner and Groovy scripting for Jira.

  • Expertise in REST API configurations.

  • Proficiency in conducting user interviews to define comprehensive requirements.

  • Strong skills in administering Jira products, integrating workflows, issue types, fields, screens, schemas, and projects.

  • Excellent project and product management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in time management and a solution-oriented approach.
