Overview
The Clinical Supply Chain & Logistics specialist will be responsible for the review and development of process improvement strategies/documents to build operational efficiencies within the current processes. The intern is expected to build and report out to the Sr. Director of Clinical Supply Chain & Logistics the identified opportunities and solutions to gain efficiencies. This intern will work cross functionally with Clinical Supply Chain & Logistics customers internal to the organization and expected to be collaborative and communicative.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities (Essential Role Responsibilities):
Develop and present end-to-end process improvement solutions for clinical supply related activities.
Deliver a process improvement for label generation and development, to support demand and operations planning (D&SOP) activities.
Understand the budget process and develop a guidance document for improved governance and operational efficiencies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent inventory is available at each node within the clinical supply chain.
Coordinate with Insmed contracted clinical supply organizations to appropriately disposition clinical supply material.
Review and understand SOPs, WPs and procedures for clinical trial material packaging, labeling, and distribution to ensure compliance with cGxP requirements.
Work closely with supply chain colleagues to ensure consistency across processes and tools and implementation improvements to show sustainable results.
Identify risks in process management and develop a solution-based approach that is operationally achievable.
Position Requirements (Required and/or Preferred Skills, Experience and Education):
Currently enrolled in a college or university
Supply Chain major preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). MS Project and other computer software demand & supply related systems are a plus.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Strong ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Acts with a sense of urgency.
Salary Range
$23 - $24 an hour
Compensation & Benefits
Eligible for paid company holidays during the intern program.
