Overhead Door Company of Boston™, a DH Pace Company located in Rockland, Massachusetts, aspires to hire a Residential Technician. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined with experience in the construction business, or welding, and can help in the service and installation of residential doors and door hardware.
Job Responsibilities:
• Install and/or repair a wide range of residential garage doors and operating systems
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Tracking and maintaining job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
• Operating in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Standard work hours: Monday through Friday; between 7:00am and 6:00pm with occasional weekend rotation shift
Qualifications:
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Able to safely lift 75 pounds over your head
• Minimum of two (2) years of mechanical and electrical experience required
• Welding experience preferred but not required
• Must possess valid driver’s license
• Enjoy the mental challenge of being able to trouble shoot to solve customer needs
• Customer Service oriented
