The Busser is responsible for quietly resetting and clearing all tables in a speedy professional and effective manner as guests leave the restaurant, as well as supporting other team members while giving exceptional customer service. Whether working in an on-trend national brand, or an iconic concept from the local community, you will create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All Paradies Lagardère positions, including the Busser, require that you embody a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a smile to customers and team members always. Exceed First Class Service standards and behavior with guests, business partners, and peers.
Maintain a professional company image by adhering to all grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip resistant shoes.
Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
Clear and sanitize tables and chairs immediately after guests leave, using approved methods and chemicals. Take dishware and glassware, etc. to appropriate areas for sorting and washing.
Assist Server(s) and Bartender(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages (where allowed), breads, etc.
Support Food Runners, Hosts, Servers, Bartenders, and Expeditors when needed.
Communicate with server and hostess to ensure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. Use correct cleaning chemicals, for designated items, and company provided personal protective equipment according to OSHA regulations.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked.
Be compliant with all local, state, federal laws and regulation including those relating to food safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED.
Experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred.
ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred.
Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively, in English.
Strong self-motivation, leadership, and organizational skills.
Positive interpersonal skills.
Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.
Standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.
