We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Profitability Reporting Analyst to join our Pricing Analytics & Execution team. The ideal candidate is proficient in SQL, has analytical curiosity and familiarity with visual analytics tools such as Power BI. You will be responsible for connecting data and trends to actionable business insights; developing, owning, and maintaining multiple reports and automations for various stakeholder teams; and unlocking value through enhanced Pricing Intelligence.


* Candidate must reside in the Richmond, VA metropolitan area. This role allows ability to primarily work from home, with occasional in-office time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, own, and maintain multiple profitability and pricing reports and automations to support various stakeholder teams, including Value Management, Cost Optimization, Product Strategy, Sales, Marketing, and others
  
  


• Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
  
  


• Create and maintain insightful and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI
  
  


• Build robust ETL processes with tools such as Matillion
  
  


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting and analytics needs and provide tailored solutions
  
  


• Analyze pricing and profitability data to identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations to support business decisions
  
  


• Work closely with seasoned data scientists to develop advanced analytical models and methodologies
  
  


• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  
  


• Continuously improve and optimize existing reports and automations to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  
  


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence
  
  


• Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field
  
  


• Minimum of 4 years of analytical experience, preferably in a pricing or profitability analytics role
  
  


• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  
  


• Strong skills in Power BI for data visualization and reporting
  
  


• Analytical mindset with the ability to connect data and trends to business insights
  
  


• Experience with automation of reports and processes
  
  


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner
  
  


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  


• Ability to work collaboratively in a highly impactful and dynamic team environment
  
  


• Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and professional growth
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related industry
  
  


• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Matillion or DataStage
  
  


• Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and data science techniques

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $83,400 - $139,000
