As the Manager of Research Care Support you will provide oversight and support to the Research Care teams and Concierges.
Oversee daily operations of concierge and research care teams.
Oversee the quality and efficiency of specimen, vital sign, and ECG collections.
Actively monitor clinic workflows for patient care activities and pivot resources as needed.
Perform specimen, vital signs, and ECG collections, and assist patients, as needed.
Create, monitor, and follow departmental SOPs, Work Instructions, and corporate guidelines.
Support, guide, and develop direct reports.
Interview, hire, and onboard new colleagues, and oversee departmental training of direct reports.
Implement, manage, and refine departmental processes and coordinate with research personnel around the conduct of research and stakeholder issues.
Triage and escalate issues according to department(s) escalation pathways.
Ensure proper safety, operations, and maintenance of relevant clinic equipment.
Prepare department metrics and reports for leadership.
Maintain positive and cooperative relationships with internal and external partners.
Lead team meetings, attend sponsor-provided education events, and champion proactive delivery of quality research and compliance.
You should have for this position:
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
Knowledge of OSHA regulations
Knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice)
Knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)
At least three years of experience working in a clinic setting
Management experience preferred
Ability to manager, train and lead
CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) preferred
CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) preferred
CCRA (Certified Clinical Research Associate) preferred
ACRP-CP (Association of Clinical Research Professional-Certified Professional) preferred
