Video Production Specialist
Applications are now being accepted for the position of a Video Production Specialist at Ada County
Highway District in the Boise, Idaho area. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a starting wage
range of $29.80 - $34.30 per hour, DOQ.

Primary Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Deputy Director of Communications, the Video Production Specialist
collaborates with department leadership and others across the organization to develop strategic
campaigns that align with ACHDs mission and brand.
Create both short-form and long-form videos through videography, motion graphics and
animations, utilizing appropriate design layouts and typography when applicable to develop
compelling video content.
Responsible for the entire video workflow including conceptualizing, storyboarding, shot list
development, scripting, setting up cameras, filming, audio, lighting, and taking all postproduction to the finish line.
Establish and maintain a digital asset system for the Districts photos and videos.
Qualifications:
Videography and experience with a variety of cameras and equipment (action cameras, DSLRs,
mobile devices, gimbals, etc.);
Pre- and post-video production including creative strategies across multiple digital media
channels;
Non-linear editing systems such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro;
The use of drones in media and communications;
Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator;
ADA best practices as it relates to digital and audio accessibility;
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with the major emphasis in film and
television, video production, communications or related field and 3 to 5 years related experience
and/or training, OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the
required knowledge, skills, abilities.
