Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects up to $20 million. This role requires a strong background in building schools and managing ISD (Independent School District) projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and monitor projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing commercial construction projects up to $20 million.
Proven experience in building schools and managing ISD projects.
Currently working for a general contractor and looking to expand project experience with a prominent builder.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check to work onsite.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in construction management software.
