Job Description

As an Intern with the Clinical Technology Studio, candidate will gain practical and applicable business experience working in the architectural design and construction healthcare industry, specifically surrounding medical equipment planning and procurement consulting services. Under the direction of studio leadership, this role will provide a variety of functions to support the project managers and procurement teams to include developing and organizing spreadsheets, data-entry and reporting within a medical equipment on-line database application, corresponding with equipment vendors to gather price quotations for medical equipment, processing and organizing responses from vendors, and communicating progress to project managers.


Job Requiremetns

Essential Responsibilities

  • Correspond with vendors to gather and organize price quotations.
  • Research and gather technical specifications from vendor websites or via direct communication.
  • Assist with reviewing architectural floorplans and comparing to equipment database data.
  • Develop and organize spreadsheets, data entry and reporting within an on-line database.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent as well as some college preferred.

Qualifications:

Candidate must be eager to learn and have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, exceptional initiative, and ability to work effectively in a professional atmosphere, strong written and oral communication skills. General computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
