We are looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in virtualization and cloud-native technologies. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our virtualized environments, ensuring high performance and reliability. This role will be onsite in Denver, CO. Cloud Infrastructure EngineerSkills:
Virtualization Expertise: 2+ years of experience with technologies like KubeVirt, VMware, and Hyper-V, managing distributed environments across multiple data centers.
Kubernetes & Linux Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters with a solid background in Linux systems administration.
Programming & Scripting: Experience in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, Ruby, or similar languages, focusing on automation and infrastructure management.
Migration Experience: Proven experience with cloud and data center migrations.
Nice to Have Skills:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in automating deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools within a CI/CD pipeline.
Documentation & Best Practices: Strong focus on producing and maintaining comprehensive system documentation and ensuring best practices are followed across deployments.
Cloud Infrastructure EngineerResponsibilities:
Cloud-Native Virtualization: Lead the design, installation, and administration of containerized virtualization environments using KubeVirt, VMware, and Hyper-V.
Kubernetes Orchestration: Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for seamless microservices deployment, maintaining high availability, security, and performance.
Linux System Administration: Administer and fine-tune Linux environments to support virtualized infrastructure and containerized workloads.
Infrastructure Automation: Build and maintain automated solutions for monitoring, scaling, and analyzing infrastructure using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
Proactive Capacity Planning: Anticipate and address capacity needs across infrastructure, recommending architecture upgrades as necessary.
Automated Incident Response: Develop automated incident response mechanisms to ensure quick and seamless recovery.
Metrics & Reporting: Track and report critical system metrics (MTBF, MTTR) to provide actionable insights for improving system reliability and performance.
