The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $83,804.80 - $104,756
Job Summary
Plans, directs, and supervises field customer service functions including meter reading, turn-ons and turn-offs, and collection activities. Provides on-site support to walk-in office customer service representatives. Works in conjunction with other local supervisors and managers as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Schedules, monitors, and evaluates the work of direct reports and/or contingent workers.
Ensures compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
Manages department budget, maintains cash controls, and supports the employee hiring process.
Facilitates shared/switched meter and theft of service investigations.
Handles high profile accounts relating to credit, customer satisfaction and/or billing issues. Supports the achievement of Priority Targets.
Promotes safety of employees, the public, contractors, and company facilities by implementing action items and participating in results driven safety initiatives.
Fills the emergency preparedness role of Wires Down Branch Director which requires after hours availability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience, or Associates Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience, or High School/GED and 10 years relevant experience required.
Prior customer service experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Prior supervisory experience is preferred
Knowledge of and experience with scheduling and routing software
Knowledge of and proficiency with SAP-CCS and Microsoft Office Suite
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and leadership skills.
