This position is responsible for preparing governmental and private reports and billings and monitoring and approving expenditures on assigned accounts. Prepares various financial status reports and original journal entries for input into the financial record system. Maintains dialogue with principal investigators, administrative assistants, and funding agencies and assists in the preparation of information for the annual audit
Daily Operations
Responsible for budget maintenance and monthly/quarterly billings of assigned accounts
Reviews and processes requisitions, travel expense reports, and requests for disbursements; checking against budget availability
Prepares federal financial status reports or state Policy 07 repost
Posts restricted line item budgets, journal entries, and other financial entries into the Workday system
Performs administrative and other related duties as assigned.

Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures and proficiency in various PC based word processing and spreadsheet applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of two (2) years' work-related experience is preferred
