The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Medical Student Education has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Medical Education Program Evaluation Manager to work in Miami, FL. The Medical Education Program Evaluation Manager provides advanced statistical support for the Office of Program Evaluation and assesses and analyzes learner outcomes as well as producing detailed and summative reports. The Medical Education Program Evaluation Manager implements new methods of analysis and supports faculty with medical education related research activities. The incumbent supports medium to large research projects, collaborates with Principal Investigators on the written plans for statistical analysis such as estimates sample size and statistical power, and assists with design and development of research-study databases during the planning stages. The Medical Education Program Evaluation Manager assist in developing efficient protocols for the collection, verification, management, and analysis for learner outcome data. Further, serves as liaison between members of the department and the research community regarding reporting results of research activities, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of medical education and graduate studies curriculum.

Able to design a comprehensive program of student assessments, design and develop a system for program evaluation that will support continuous curriculum improvement, and support faculty in the development of research, student assessment and curriculum design.
Collaborate with the educational deans, and faculty to assess learning outcomes, analyze data, and report results.
Able to develop qualitative and quantitative methods including designing study protocols and data collection tools.
Experience developing high quality evaluation reports, data visualizations, and other research related protocols.
Collaborates with Principal Investigators on the written plans for statistical analysis, estimation of sample size and statistical power. Consults with study investigators on planning and specifying statistical analysis. Interprets analyses and writes statistical sections and study reports.
Prepares data, conducts statistical analysis, and summarizes results for large research projects.
Prepares results for progress reports, presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
Provides support to resolve barriers to analysis and consults with other methodologists and statisticians.
Finalizes analysis plans and writes detailed specifications for analysis of files, consistency checks, tables, and figures.
Able to make data driven decisions through mathematical analysis in the field of medicine, public health, biology, or epidemiology.
Collaborate with the School of Medicine faculty in scholarly publications on educational approaches, outcomes, and assessments.
Able to guide the development of assessment strategies and program evaluation for curricular elements and core competencies for all degree programs.
Contributes to all aspects of data analysis including the writing of abstracts and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication and posters and talks for presentation at scientific meeting.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Department Specific Functions
The (Program Evaluation Manager) provides advanced statistical support for the Office of Program Evaluation. They are responsible for a breadth of evaluation tasks including assessing and analyzing learner outcomes as well as producing detailed and summative reports. The (Program Evaluation Manager) implements new methods of analysis and supports faculty with medical education related research activities. The Program Evaluation Manager supports medium to large research projects, collaborates with Principal Investigators on the written plans for statistical analysis such as estimates sample size and statistical power, and assists with design and development of research-study databases during the planning stages. They assist in developing efficient protocols for the collection, verification, management, and analysis for learner outcome data. Further, serves as liaison between members of the department and the research community regarding reporting results of research activities, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of medical education and graduate studies curriculum.
The (Program Evaluation Manager) also prepares written reports that analyze and interpret survey data from students, residents, and fellows regarding learner experiences.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in relevant field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
