An esteemed nonprofit technology company is seeking an Event Planner to join its team! We are searching for an individual with experience in hospitality management or event coordination. This is a great opportunity for individuals with event planning backgrounds from hotels, corporate conferences, or weddings. Responsibilities:
- Manage the registration process and coordination for high-volume conferences.
- Collaborate alongside the department manager to construct and oversee conference budgets, trend analyses, and spending patterns.
- Manage all external relationships with food and beverage providers and hospitality vendors for conferences and events.
- Coordinate internal facility tours of various office locations.
- Execute marketing strategies by collaborating on promotional materials.
- Travel required: 6-8 times a year (typically travel will only occur during the work week)
Requirements:
- 1+ years of event coordinating experience.
- 1+ years of customer relationship management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant experience.
