Job Description Summary
This position will recommend, create, deliver, and coordinate processes, tools, and training that proactively support College goals, objectives, evolving needs, and environmental requirements. The individual is expected to collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders using independent judgment, problem solving, and analytical skills in identifying and assessing training needs, and in developing and delivering educational programs and content. This position requires the individual to be able to build strong connections and trusting relationships with employees at all levels.
Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily to be qualified for the position. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Learning, Training and Talent Development:
Collaborate with leadership, subject matter experts, and stakeholders across all levels of the organization to identify needs, develop plans, and implement training and learning programs for the College.
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing development of the Manager Training Program for employees, ensuring continuous learning and skill enhancement.
Support the creation, development, and management of effective learning and performance-focused solutions, including assessing needs, developing the learning strategy, creating programs, and identifying innovative delivery methods and learning approaches.
Research and develop training solutions that support learner engagement and diverse learning styles.
Create learning materials, utilizing an array of Learning and Training Development strategies that focus on innovative ways to deliver and deploy learning (i.e., e-Learning courses, facilitator guides, presentations, participant materials, job aids).
Create and apply program measurement and evaluation practices/approaches to support program continuous improvement and achievement of intended outcomes.
Participate in the creation, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of new employee onboarding and orientations both at the College level and department level to ensure new hires are adequately introduced to the College and are equipped with the tools to be successful.
Administer employee engagement initiatives and leadership development programs.
Assist with the Leadership Development Programs for new leaders in the organization.
Coach and mentor employees on degree requirements and career development plans.
Design, implement, and evaluate all In-Service programs and other college-wide initiatives.
Review, implement, monitor, and recommend changes for college and/or human resources and training and development policies or procedures. Lead or participate in the development and implementation of new policies, practices, and processes.
Develop, create, and maintain the ongoing updates necessary in training resources on HR SharePoint pages. Assist departments with updating training materials in job aids, and SharePoint pages.
Maintain and foster educational partnerships with four-year colleges, to promote career development opportunities for employees.
Build and facilitate team building training options for departments.
Compliance:
Research and review compliance training offerings and make recommendations for college training programs.
Facilitate the work collaboration for compliance requirements with HR Systems team for annual required self-identification personal information.
Manage and monitor the monthly drug and alcohol testing for DOT compliance requirements for transportation employees
Complete annual Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Clearinghouse Bulk Query.
Manage the ongoing updates for Campus Security Authority (CSA) employee list and assist with the annual training communications and assignments.
Complete annual Legal Ad requirements for local newspapers.
Assist with Affirmative Action planning, serve as an active member of the Title IX investigation team and recommends training opportunities.
HR Systems Talent Partner:
Review and approve all Salary Progression Requests, while actively participating in the ongoing review and evaluation of the salary progression program to ensure alignment with organizational goals and employee development.
Manage and support Mentorship Programs.
Assist with the set-up, editing, and advertising of training and development opportunities as needed with HR Learning Administrator.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field
Two to three years of relevant professional experience in the field of education, adult learning, training, or related fields/disciplines
Experience with coordinating training programs
Experience supporting creation of in-person, virtual, and hybrid training and development solutions.
Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and design software.

Work Environment
Work will be completed in a hybrid environment, both in person and virtually.
Work environment may change based upon college needs.
Physical Requirements
Sitting: This role requires extended periods of sitting while performing tasks and utilizing computer systems.
Mobility: While much of the work is desk-based, occasional mobility may be necessary for attending meetings, office tours, or events within the workplace.
Lifting and Carrying: The role requires occasional/continuous lifting and carrying of light to moderate items (include weight estimate).
Fine Motor Skills: This role may need precise hand movements or manual dexterity for activities such as writing on a whiteboard, demonstrating experiments, or using instructional technology like computers.
Repetitive Motions: Capacity to perform repetitive motions, such as typing, without discomfort or injury.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with employees, candidates, and stakeholders, both in-person and through electronic means.
Travel: May require off-site training facilitation, fieldwork, or travel for professional development.

Additional Information
Pay Rate: $63,900.00 - $75,200.00 per year.
Pay is based on a multitude of factors, including experience, qualifications, education, relevant certifications, internal equity, and market data. Note: Internal applicants' wage will be based upon the applicable compensation guidelines.
