JOB SUMMARY
Marketing professionals develop an understanding of a market, its competitors, customers and their needs, and UPS strengths to create and implement strategies to drive profitable growth.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS
Provide insights based on rigorous analysis
Evaluate, quantify, and prioritize marketing issues, problems, and opportunities
Synthesize information, identifying key findings and associated implications for strategy
Define problems and key issues to efficiently solve them
Identify key data sources, assesses data quality, and understands & communicates limitations; relates & compares data from different sources
Manage large amounts of data and selects efficient analytical approaches that fit the situation
Make logical and documented assumptions, challenges own findings
Establish and maintain comprehensive marketplace assessments of customers and other relevant market factors
Conduct market research, clearly defining research objectives, key questions, and the plan for analyzing and applying research results
Develop business cases to determine whether a course of action or investment adds value to the business
Gain new and unique customer insights through data modeling, market research, frontline personnel interviews and direct customer engagement
Analyze issues for root causes and prioritizes key issues to identify greatest opportunities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be actively pursuing an MBA
Willingness to travel
This position requires working in Atlanta, GA
OTHER CRITERIA:
Relocation may be available for this position
Experience with PC based analytical/data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, R, and SQL are a plus
