FLOAT Medical Assistant at Roth Staffing Companies in Smithfield, North Carolina

Job Description:

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to float between Smithfield and Wilson site locations for a large practice.


This is a FLOATING, full time temp to hire position 8-5 Monday-Friday. The pay rate is $18-$19 per hour depending on experience.

Summary:


The Medical Assistant is responsible for accurately rooming patients, assisting with phone duties and ensuring communication between the Physician, midlevel and Nurse, in order to give safe and competent clinical care to the patients.


Requirements:


- Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration NOT REQUIRED.


- At least 2 years experience in a fast-paced, high volume clinic environment


- Excellent knowledge of EMR and computer systems


- Sensitivity to patient problems and concerns


- Current BLS certification
