Our 2025 winter internship is a paid internship opportunity expected to begin on January 1, 2025, and end on April 30, 2025. No housing is provided. Please submit a cover letter with a resume.
Participate in clinical operations and procedures, including taxonomy, anatomy, feather structure, imping (feather repair), tail sheathing (protection), necropsy, pesticide poisoning, calculating medications, and fluid therapy related to raptors.
Learn and participate in daily examinations, treatments, and administering medications to sick and injured raptors.
Prepare food for clinic patients.
Clean and maintain raptor housing.
Prepare slides for laboratory examination and analysis.

Intern Schedule
The internship is being offered three full days a week for four months, totaling 400+ hours.
Background in animal science, biology, or pre-veterinary coursework is preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and work with a team.
Prior experience with handling wildlife or animal medicine is highly desired.
