We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of financial principles. They will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy through comprehensive analysis, risk assessment, and forecasting. In this position, the Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with live swine grow-out operations to assess financial and operational performance, develop annual budgets, and strategic operational reporting. This role demands a proactive approach to operational analysis and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial data. You will be responsible for providing insights that drive operational efficiency and enhance profitability. Moreover, your strategic recommendations will be key to influencing executive decision-making and promoting accountability within our operational business partners. We are looking for someone who has not only technical proficiency but also strong communication skills to convey complex operational performance information to stakeholders.



Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed operational analysis to inform strategic decision-making.


• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including variance analyses and forecasts.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage annual budgets and financial plans.


• Identify and analyze key financial and operational metrics to drive performance improvement.


• Perform monthly BSR's


• Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.


• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

REQUIREMENTS:


Education: Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or Data Science. MBA or IS minor preferred


Experience: 3+ years of accounting or finance experience; supervisory experience preferred.


Computer Skills: Advanced standard computer skills; SAP experience preferred.


Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
