Supply Asset Manager at ORBIS Corporation in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Description:

1. Monitors and analyzes key metrics including inventories, delivery time, lead times, and order cycles. 2. Identifies trends, issues and opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.

3. Manages supply chain team, including recruiting and employee development.

4. Maintains a record of perpetual inventory levels of returnable packaging across the customer's supply chain.

5. Provides long term and short-term demand planning for owned assets.

6. Enters transactions and other data into ORBIS' internal data management system; transactions include, but are not limited to shipping, audits, packaging, part numbers, supplier, and carrier information. 7. Openly communicates with ORBIS operations, customers, suppliers and/or customers' customers, and carriers about reusable packaging orders, pickups, inventory, ASN/EDI issues and PFEP information.

8. Responsible for managing physical inventory process.

9. Provides loss data and analysis by customer.

10. Supports problem solving activities to help resolve discrepancies related to reusable packaging identified throughout customers' supply chains.

11. Manages KPI's and scorecards related to the ongoing efficiencies of the customers' supply chains. 12. Develops, maintains, and presents reports to internal and external customers.

13. Maintains and continuously improves relations with internal and external contacts and build reputation of a proactive problem solver.

14. Leads and participate in customer business review meetings.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication skills using Email, Teams and Phone. Strong MS Excel skills, with experience using an inventory management system preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects and work with multiple personality types. Ability to lead in meetings and by example. Self-directed and able to manage daily tasks and time. Ability to stand for 4+ hours a day. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Ability to travel up to 45%.
