Job Summary: The role of the Production Tech position is to efficiently de-bone, trim, package, label and distribute Good Chemistry products to be sold at Massachusetts retail stores and via the wholesale program. This role also includes basic cleaning tasks and other various duties to support the production facility as needed.
Pay Rate: $17.50 - $20 per hour commensurate with education and experience

Must pass a background check in order to obtain an RMD Agent card through Cannabis Control CommissionThis job involves cannabis and requires that you be at least 21 years oldGenuine enthusiasm and love for cannabis and the cannabis industryMinimum 1 years experience in Cannabis cultivation or production desired, but not required
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the efficient processing and packaging of marijuana flower for our retail stores and wholesale programWork in a timely manner and strive to increase productivityAdapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana being trimmed and packaged, adjusting techniques to maintain a steady pace and qualityAssist with distribution of packaged products to retail storesOther duties and projects as assigned by management, both in MA & CO
Essential Job Functions
Must qualify for the use of a full-face respiratorMust be able to complete repetitive fine motor movementsMust be able to seize, hold, grasp, turn, open, close, lift, or otherwise work with your hand(s) to manipulate packaging, products, and pruning equipment repetitively throughout a 8hr shift.Must be able to work in an environment with high noise and high light intensityMust be comfortable using provided PPE such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary.

Additional Requirements:
Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push, move up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with mechanical assistance)Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching; and must be able to use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch, frequently/constantly to complete tasksMust be able to handle plant matter daily, and be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection)

Workplace Environment: Allergen Warnings The employee may be exposured to dust, pollen and plant pathogens. All jobs require daily use of provided PPE such as masks, hair nets, bear covers, respirators, boot covers, hearing protection, aprons, gloves, Tyvek suits, and goggles/eye protection, as necessary. The employee must be able to work in spaces with exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to, air compressors, packaging equipment, alarms, and other machinery. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to an environment suited for the plants optimal performance and not necessarily the employees comfort.
