Keller is seeking experienced Plant Manager to lead our branch's team of mechanics and maintenance personnel while developing capital expenditures, managing inventory and supporting the Operations Manager at the project sites.
Responsibilities
Developing in short and mid-term capital expenditure plans.
Participating in strategic planning.
Managing job flow in the workshop including scheduling and labor allocation for day-to-day operations
Maintaining direct communication and assisting mechanics assigned to the job sites.
Assisting, General Superintendents, Superintendents and Project Managers with equipment/supply/transportation issues as needed.
Undertaking all levels of servicing, maintenance and repairs of all company equipment.
Following the repair process from fault analysis to completion as well as supervising and guiding workshop staff.
Ensuring that equipment is maintained and timely available for the works.
Managing and controlling the stock of spare parts, consumables and supplies.
Maintaining inventory, equipment database up to date.
Travelling to job sites as required to follow equipment/supplies related activities.
Reviewing and managing shop costs
Managing equipment efficiency throughout the business unit
Providing guidance, direction, coaching, and support to direct reports.
Qualifications
Excellent organizational and leadership skills .
BS in mechanical engineering, preferable but not essential.
At least 10 years of proven experience as Shop/Plant Manager for heavy civil construction.
Strong preference will be given to diaphragm wall and cutter soil mixing experience.
A team player with leadership abilities
Thorough understanding of Accounts, Inventory management & Budgeting.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Based in the Dallas metropolitan area but available to travel to job sites on a case-by-case basis

Additional Information
Salary Range : $82,000 - 110,000 per year
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
