Description: The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Willmar MN area to find an Industrial Engineer for their team. This role plays a huge part in equipment upgrades, new line installation, efficiency of production lines, and overall efficiency of the plant. The right candidate needs to have a strong background of implementing lean initiatives in a company with an engineering mindset.


**The client would be willing to assist in relocation**



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for applying engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continually improve manufacturing processes and products.


• Provide support with layout, design, improvement, and implementation that enables the plant to reach KPIs


• Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects for the plant


• Actively participates with teams and with teammates to provide improvements in Safety, Quality, and Productivity


• Manage and execute new equipment installations, equipment capacity analysis/utilization, labor planning, which includes construction and implementation of labor standards, ergonomic improvements, productivity improvement and standard labor cost construction


• Develop standardized work practice sheets
  
  


• Provides the plant operations groups with solutions on equipment layouts and plant capacities

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree


• 2+ years of Engineering Experience in manufacturing


• Strong knowledge of CI, Lean Manufacturing
