Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Media Planner to join their dynamic team. This role is a 9-month contract position, offering an exciting opportunity to lead media strategy and investment for the enterprise and their retail media network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement media strategies in line with our client's and partner's business goals.
- Collaborate with Brand Strategy, Partner & Category Marketing, Media Agency, Creative, and Channel Owners to deliver integrated media plans.
- Manage the relationship with the Media Agency.
- Support the strategic media planning process for assigned campaigns, recommending the best media mix and channels to deliver business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of progressive media planning experience in an advertising agency, client, or retail media network setting.
- Digital planning and/or buying experience; familiarity managing programmatic and brand onsite campaigns across all digital channels including display, video, CTV, social, and retargeting.
- Strong project coordination skills, including rigorous attention to detail, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration, especially in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing integrated paid media programs for a national, retail brand.
- Experience managing million-dollar budgets.
- Experience with paid search, affiliates, CRM/ email, influencers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products, Salesforce Media Cloud, Workfront.
The successful candidate will report to a Senior Manager and will not have any direct reports. They will play a crucial role in managing the increased responsibilities and projected increase in campaign volume/media plans due to the launch of a new toolset to manage campaign planning and workflow.
