Looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager for a rapidly growing General Contractor headquartered in Columbia, MD. The core markets they operate in are federal and local government, municipal, industrial/warehouse, and commercial interiors. Core Responsibilities:
Support Project Management team from bidding through close-out
Participate in project scheduling, bidding, take-offs, procurement, and other tasks as needed.
Develop, log, schedule, and review all project documentation and submittals.
Manage RFI's, submittals, change orders, permits, and other project documentation.
BIM coordination
Work with subcontractor to manage punch list items
Average projects valued between $2.5M-$5M.
Projects can vary from renovations, SCIF, minor and new construction, alteration work, with a specialty in Design Build projects.
To be successful in this role:
2-3 years' experience within a commercial general contractor or subcontractor
Hungry to learn all aspects of Project Management
Currently operating in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager position for a commercial general contractor.
Construction related degree preferred, ideally in Construction Management. Relevant experience would also be considered.
