Under the general supervision of the Practice Manager and Manager of the Contact Lens Service, and the direct supervision of the Staff Optometrists, Attending, Residents, or Fellows, coordinates administrative and technical functions of the Contact Lens Service. Maintains exam rooms & equipment, and performs other technical duties. Acts independently to order, receive, record, and dispense lenses & lens care products and to advise patients concerning lens care & give complete contact lens wear instructions.
Qualifications
High school diploma with some college course work preferred. One to three years prior experience in a clinical setting with direct physician and patient contact. Detail oriented person with excellent interpersonal skills who can comfortably handle more than one task at a time.
