The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share for IDS Fulfillment by developing and executing a sales strategy to achieve sales and profit goals. This role will manage a portfolio of mid-market clients (revenue range $20M-$50M) and develop strategic partnerships to optimize their fulfillment operations. Success emphasizes identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by building strong relationships with potential clients. The Director of Business Development must work well with others on the IDS team and drive success through the sales process with other IDS team members. Travel as needed to customer locations, trade shows, business functions, etc.

Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the logistics or supply chain industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and experience in a similar environment or a combination of training and experience.
Experience in the fulfillment industry.
Familiar with a wide variety of the sales fields concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
