About The Role
Our SDRs are the first point of contact for potential customers, introducing them to Vergo's innovative solutions through strategic outbound prospecting. Your day-to-day will involve:
Outbounding to future Vergo customers to understand their business needs & challenges and how Vergo's product can solve these
Source and set-up initial high-quality meetings for our sales team leveraging cold calling, email and LinkedIn outbound to prospective clients. Consistently exceeding monthly targets for meetings booked and sales opportunities created
Maintain CRM hygiene to enable accurate forecasting and to ensure a data driven outbound approach
Ensure inbound leads are qualified and successfully developed through the funnel
Become an subject matter expert in the construction space representing Vergo as an innovative market leader
Potential to travel for conferences and prospect visits
Work in person in our Manhattan office 4-5 days a week
About You
We are looking for a strong communicator who is passionate about sales and has a resilient, go-getter attitude. You should be eager to learn and ready to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment. Managing your time well, using a data- and results-driven approach, will be key to attaining and exceeding your quota. We're looking for someone with experience in:
Making 60+ cold calls per day (using a power dialer of course)
Strong communication and rapport-building skills over the phone
Excellent organizational skills
High level of integrity and accountability in your work
A growth mindset and open to feedback
Resilience, persistence, and comfort with rejection
Passion for hitting the goals given to you
