RESPONSIBILITIES:

A client with Kforce is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Harborside, Jersey City, New Jersey (NJ). This role is hybrid - 3 days onsite weekly.

Job Summary:
In this role, the Business Analyst will play a crucial role in defining and documenting business processes within the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient and effective payment operations. The Business Analyst will be defining and documenting business processes withing the accounts payable team, as well as collecting information (progress/issues etc.) from each project and creating the necessary documentation

Responsibilities:

• Define, document, and analyze business processes within the accounts payable team to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards


• Gather and synthesize information on project progress, issues, and milestones from various stakeholders to create comprehensive documentation


• Utilize hands-on experience in payment operations to understand and enhance payment functionality, ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions


• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to gather requirements, provide insights, and support project implementation


• Analyze data to identify trends, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes


• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance within the accounts payable function


• Ensure all processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, mitigating risks associated with payment operations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hands-on experience in payment operations


• Experience working in large, complex financial services environments


• Understanding of payment functionality


• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
