Job Description:

IPC International, Inc. is looking to hire a Channel Development Manager. The Channel Development Manager will own the key strategic relationships with IPC's channel partners and distributors globally and will be accountable for achieving sales goals in accordance with IPC's annual operating plan.

Responsibilities
  • Create and execute annual strategic sales plans to globally increase adoption of IPC's products and services including IPC membership.
  • Develop and maintain a systemized approach to actively manage the partner network including contract updates and renewals management, monthly sales and target updates, and communication of best practices.
  • Develop new distribution channels and partnerships to broaden the acceptance of IPC's products and services.
  • Understand the critical success factors, markets served, organizational processes, and decision making for all key partners to ensure alignment with IPC's mission and goals.
  • Assist in coordinating IPC resources to help make partners successful.
  • Travel as needed to meet with distribution partners and/or customers.
  • Develop and execute written and verbal sales presentations and proposals.
  • Develop thorough understanding of IPC products and services, i.e., features and benefits, pricing, and availability.
  • Developing and implementing partnership strategies: Responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities for partnerships that align with the company's business goals. This may involve developing relationships with potential partners, negotiating terms, and creating partnerships that are mutually beneficial.
  • Responsible for maintaining and strengthening existing partnerships, including managing communication and collaboration with key partners and identifying ways to grow and expand these relationships.
  • Responsible for continuously seeking out new opportunities for growth and expansion, including identifying new potential partners and markets.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements: Ensure that all partnerships comply with relevant laws and regulations and that the company is protected against potential legal risks.
  • Responsible for communicating with key stakeholders, including senior management, keeping them informed about partnership activities and to seek input and guidance as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or communications.

Experience and/or Training:
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience, especially with international distributors and sales channels.
  • Proven track record of growing distribution sales channels and partnerships.
  • Electronics Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel and independently support customer meetings, approximately 30%.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners and customers.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to manage and lead adhoc teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to partnerships.

Technology/Equipment:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HubSpot CRM, Salesforce, or NetSuite. AI Solutions experience a plus.
