Alternate Perspectives, Incorporated (API) has an immediate opening for a Counseling Supervisor at one of our operated Job Corps Locations. You will be a part of the nation’s most successful youth training and education program, Job Corps, for the past 60 years.
As Counseling Supervisor , you will be responsible for providing guidance, direction, and support to all staff in the counseling and career preparation departments. You will lead initiatives to ensure efficient and effective operations while helping to develop and sustain a positive and caring environment for our students. You will ensure staff follow all regulatory compliance and guidelines while providing the highest quality care to our clients. You will also be responsible for fostering an environment of professional development and growth for all staff members of the counseling department. Your knowledge, leadership, and commitment to excellence will be essential to the success of the department.
Some Additional Essential Functions:
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree including 15 hours of social sciences related instruction with two years experience in counseling or related field and two years experience working with youth and young adults. One year supervisory experience preferred; excellent written and verbal communication and computer proficiency required. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
