Coach USA Wisconsin Coach Lines, a premier motorcoach company in southeastern Wisconsin located in Waukesha, WI, has an exciting career opportunity as we are hiring a full-time Maintenance Manager. The right candidate will manage a team of FT & PT shop technicians, a parts specialist, and wash bay cleaning employees, while overseeing a fleet of over 40+ deluxe motorcoaches. In addition, this position may require working as a technician as needed.
Position Overview:
Directly oversees and coordinates all aspects of the Maintenance Department including managing a team consisting of shop mechanics, wash bay cleaning staff, and parts manager while overseeing a fleet of 40 deluxe motorcoaches. In addition, this position may require working as a technician as needed. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Manages the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of all commercial vehicles.
Understand and apply US DOT and OSHA regulations.
Oversees the overall upkeep of the building and property.
Purchases parts and supplies, in conjunction with the parts manager, as needed for the operation
Coordinates work schedules for technicians and cleaners.
Tracks equipment for service and preventive maintenance using industry specific software.
Tracks and codes invoices.
Serves as on-call for mechanical emergencies and breakdowns.
Reviews work orders, assigns tasks to employees, and verifies the quality of work performed by doing quality pm and repair audits.
Schedules work to be performed based on routine preventive maintenance inspections.
Maintains a safe and productive work environment.
Troubleshoots and evaluates options to determine the best course of action.
Hires, develops, and disciplines employees.
Promotes team building and coaching skills.
Work with Safety Manager to promote a safe working environment, and ensure compliance with all governmental regulations and company policy.
Participate in all audits whether company or outside agency.
Applies analysis of projects and coordinates accordingly.
Ability to work a varied schedule, when needed, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, special days, etc..
Other duties as assigned by the General Manager to facilitate the daily operations of the Company.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of Commercial vehicle maintenance experience, preferably diesel engines.
Previous bus experience a plus.
Must have a CDL, class B license, or the ability to acquire one with passenger and airbrake endorsements.
Transportation specific certifications (i.e., ASE, manufacturer's certifications, brakes, A/C, etc.) a plus.
Supervisory experience preferred with strong ability to manage people.
Ability to lead and work independently as well as in a group environment.
Must comply with current traffic and driver safety regulations as well as all other applicable Federal, State, DOT Hours of service regulation, and local regulations and system policies.
Moderate computer experience skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Working knowledge/experience in electronic diagnostics.
Must have the flexibility to work hours described, holidays, and irregular work schedules, when necessary.
