As a Lead Server, you will play a key role in leading our front-of-house dining team, ensuring that each guest receives a first-class experience in line with the fresh, vibrant identity of The Sunny. You'll bring a high level of service and attention to detail while helping guide your team through the changes that come with our rebranding. You will be the welcoming face that sets the tone for the entire experience creating an inviting atmosphere from the moment our guests enter.



Responsibilities




What You'll Be Doing



  • Delivering a world-class cocktail and dining program to all guests

  • Mentor and guide the serving team, setting the example for service standards, professionalism, and teamwork. You'll be responsible for training new staff and ensuring smooth operations during each shift.

  • Creating a lasting impression with enthusiasm and a graceful attitude and affirming our commitment to community-centric hospitality

  • Welcoming guests and offering menu guidance, bussing tables and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure guest satisfaction

  • Demonstrating expert knowledge of all beverage and food items, as well as daily specials and pop-up events (First Friday of the month, beverage activations)

  • Follow steps of service and maintain high service standards as per provided training while taking food or drink orders

  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager




Qualifications




What We're Looking For



  • Previous experience in a server or lead server role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel

  • Ideal candidates are organized, service-centric and possess strong communication skills with at least six months of previous Food Server experience

  • Work effectively in a team environment, maintaining a positive attitude and adapting to changing situations

  • Flexible schedule and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success
