Job Description:

A leading international law firm is looking for an experienced Insurance Coverage Associate to join their Bay Area team. With more than 1,000 attorneys nationwide, this is a great opportunity to join a firm with top resources and support. The firm has several Bay Area office locations but is also open to this Attorney working fully remote should they prefer.



Job Duties:

• Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice to clients.


• Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.


• Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence.


• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Qualifications:

• Is admitted to practice in California.


• Has experience in insurance coverage and coverage litigation.


• Has excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.


• Has effective problem-solving skills.


• Has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
